How would you do this?
How to Claim Your Receipt Lottery Winnings
If a cloud receipt had the winning numbers, the government should automatically transfer the funds to your bank account.
If not, follow these steps:
- Fill out the information on the back of your receipt
- Refer to the images below to know what to fill out. It’s all in Chinese.
- Turn in the receipt
- For amounts below NT$1,000: Head to any convenience store (like 7-Eleven). Present your winning receipt and ARC/passpor. Choose to receive cash or in-store credit.
- NT$1,000+: Visit a designated bank, bring your winning receipt, valid ID and fill out a claim form. They’ll withhold 20% of the winnings for amounts over NT$4,000 (for taxes).
If you have a bank account in Taiwan, just use a receipt lottery app. It’s much easier than dealing with the hastle of turning in the receipt.
